Minnetonka Choral Society

As you may know, MCS is in the process of co-commissioning a brand new work by Elaine Hagenberg (composer of the beautiful Illuminare we performed in the December 2024 concert), which we will sing in our 2026 Spring performance.  In addition, this new work will have its European Premiere in Paris on June 23, 2026 and MCS has been invited to sing in that premiere!

To participate, we need at least 20 MCS members to join us in Paris. (We would like even more!)  Click on the button below to download the brochure with itineraries, costs, and deadline details.  Next June sounds far away, but the non-refundable deposit to hold your spot is due in early September.  The brochure shows land-only, with airfare, and with/without additional days estimated costs.   The optional 2-day excursion includes a stay in the lovely Loire valley and visits to a chateau, winery, and Chartres Cathedral.

Also, if you know of other singers who would like to experience this amazing opportunity, they are welcome to audition with MCS (see Join MCS).  They should plan to sing with us at our Spring 2026 concert, as well as in this "City of Light" performance.  If you've never been to Paris . . . what a way to go!
