Path to a Premiere
Featuring a new work by Elaine Hagenberg, "Illuminare"composer. Plan ahead to hear one of the first few performances of this new work!

How do we move from an idea (and a text) to a composition? How does a composer change and grow from one piece to another?
We are blessed to offer the world premiere of “Aeterna Via” (Eternal Way) by America’s young choral master Elaine Hagenberg, a work we have commissioned with six other choruses in the nation. We will set the stage with four of Elaine’s earlier works: two meditative (“O Love” and “You Do Not Walk Alone”) and two propulsive from “Illuminare,” which we performed in 2024.
We’ll explore how a composer changes and grows from one piece to another by offering early and late works by Mozart. And we’ll showcase the American choral language from which Elaine’s artistry grew in “The Road Not Taken” by Randall Thompson.
We are proud to trace an artistic journey with a rising musical creator, and we hope you can join us on our “Path to a Premiere.”

Tickets purchased in advance can be printed, received digitally (via email) or picked up at Will Call desk an hour before the concert.
Tickets will also be available for sale at the venue on the day of the concert, one hour before the performance.

If a concert is cancelled or rescheduled, tickets will be honored on the rescheduled date or at our next performance.
